Exploring Possibilties

I wanted to explore something different—something few other percussionists had ventured into. As a former drum set player, I saw many pushing the boundaries of what could be done with traditional drums. However, bucket drumming offers a unique challenge: it requires rethinking the role of each limb and creates a sound and feel distinct from a drum set. This new sound, as heard in the clip above, has captured the attention of passersby, sparking their curiosity about what they’re hearing.
